Clearex brings the best out of plants grown with dissolved mineral feeds by flushing out excess salts, giving you healthier growth during the veg and flowering stages if used periodically, and a better tasting end-product after harvesting.
- Removes excess mineral salts by dissolving them on contact
- Brings the best out of your chosen plant strain in terms of flavour
- Highly effective in any growing medium or system that’s used with mineral-based fertiliser
- Preserves the integrity of root hairs
- Loaded with electrolytes, preventing stress while flushing
- Contains mono and disacharides, providing energy for the biosynthesis of metabolites and macromolecules
- Cuts a two-week flush down to a single week
How Clearex Works
Dissolved mineral fertilisers are a great way to give your plant all of the macro and micronutrients that they need for healthy growth, which is why they’re favoured by so many commercial growers and horticulturalists. By using an EC meter, you can accurately gauge how much nutrient you are giving to your plants at any given time, giving you complete control over feeding. The dissolved minerals in your fertiliser are made up of salts; to get the very best from your indoor garden, it’s important to periodically flush these salts from your substrate to ensure that they don’t build up. You’ll notice salt build-ups as white, powdery coatings that can feel slightly corrosive to the touch. If you’re not careful, over time you can start to see increases in the conductivity levels of your run-off, or the nutrient in your system. When salt concentrations get too high, it causes a condition known as plasmolysis, which can lead to plant stress and wilting, slowing down growth and jeopardising your crop.
Clearex works by dissolving salts on contact in order to leech excess nutrients from the substrate. It’s much more effective than using plain tap water, which can cause plants to lose essential electrolytes, leaving them more vulnerable to pathogenic bacteria and fungi. There’s no need to wait until the final weeks to flush out your plants. Flushing periodically throughout the growth and bloom stages can give your plants a helping hand.
How to Use Clearex
Do not use Clearex alongside your other nutrients. Clearex can be used for the final flush at the end of the bloom phase or as a periodic flush in between feeds. Use it with plain pHed water at a rate of 27ml of Clearex for every 10 litres of water.
