What Is It?

Designed for use with the Rhino EC Ultra fan, the Rhino 2EC Fan Controller gives growers precise control over their grow room environment. Similar to the Rhino 1EC Fan Controller, it features analogue dials to adjust minimum and maximum fan speeds and temperature. However, the Rhino 2EC goes a step further by including an off-set dial specifically for regulating negative pressure—an essential factor in maintaining a stable grow space.

Unlike the Rhino 1EC, the Rhino 2EC manages both intake and outtake fans, ensuring proper air exchange and negative pressure balance. Negative pressure occurs when more air is expelled than is drawn in, preventing issues like ballooning or implosion. The off-set dial keeps both fans working in sync to maintain optimal conditions.

Additionally, the Rhino 2EC Fan Controller is energy-efficient, drawing power directly from the Rhino EC Ultra fan, eliminating the need for an external power source.
